Doug and Crina : Bruna was so nice!

I work across the street from Lido so I passed by this place for the last 4 years. I always thought it was just another high-price, medium-yieled food quality restaurant. What a pleasant surprise when tonight we decided to dine there.

Food was amazing, their Fillet Mignon was outstanding, Creme Brulee and Lemon Frozen desert delicious!

Our server Bruna and the whole staff was spot on. Fast, very friendly and genuinely happy!

Ohhh, should I add that Trump Golf Course Restaurant meal in PV was so poorly and shamely overpriced and uncomparable with Lido's?

Well done! We'll be back for karaoke night with friends.

D&C

P.S. Their Happy Hour choices are huge and only $5.00Smile

One remembers that life seems to be not very cheap, however people need cash for different issues and not every one earns enough money. Hence to get good credit loans and just short term loan will be a right way out.

Guest: Awesome restaurant

Lisa: What an awesome service and

experience at Lidos. We loved the

atmosphere, ( the lights were not too

bright) staff and most of all the

food, it was quality food. Every single dish

I tasted was so yummy. The creative

ideas (French wine dinner etc..... It sure

did attract more people to your

restaurant) you implemented were great.

Keep up the good work. We will be back

for more great food next time.

I owe LIDO and the owner an apology for my

previous comment on this board. She totally

stepped up to the plate and honestly she is not

only a fast learner....but you can tell she is a

true business owner! Congratts!!! Seeing CHEF

PAUL take control of that kitchen and the staff

and onlookers being amazed was SO awesome!

As I said in my last comment..1 in 10 restaurants

survive, I hope LIDO is that 1!

I just watched KN and have to say, the owner

has no business owning a restaurant! 1 in 10

restaurants survive, and the LIDO needs to die!

I'm 41 and have been in the hospitality and f&b

business since i was 12 yrs old, and once again

it doesn't take rocket science to see what was

wrong with LIDO. The restaurant business is

one of the hardest if not the most difficult

business to succeed in on a good day! Now add

a owner who has NO clue how to run a

restaurant and you have the makings of a

disaster. Of all the KN's I haved viewed I

usually am excited and hopeful that the owners

and the restaurant succeeds after the show. I

am even interested in visiting the restaurant. As

for this one...NO THANKS! You don't deserve my

trip from Canada.

Guest: Ok..........

Well I see some comments were critical.  I think now that some things were learned, everything will be better!  Just keep cooking and maintaining the place Ramsay would and you will be on the + side of money.

Derek Varricchione: This BRUIN will extend an olive branch t...

Lisa:  My name is Derek.  I grew up in Palos Verdes and live in

San Diego, CA.  I frequently get up to the South Bay to visit

my family in PV.  I am in M.B, quite frequently and are very

much aware as where your restraunt is.  I saw your resteraunt

featured on Kitchen Nightmares and although I don't agree with

the way you conducted yourself with the bathroom tantrum I

understand you are young and ambitous entrepreneuer owner

ans so I would like to extend my best wishes to you in running

the restraunt and want to let you know that I will be stopping in

to eat at your resteraunt and hope that I have the chance to say

hello and potentially rate your resteraunts as one of the best

places to eat in MB or the South Bay.  I have alot of pull with

the San Diego meia and look forward to maybe reccomending

them to your resteraunt when either in MB or visiting the LA

area.  Please look forward to me contacting you for reservation.

Best Wishes ... Derek "Dasl'R" ... S.D. Cali

Guest: Winter is coming

Rather pretentious pricing for a restaurant'

in a strip mall that has yet to prove itself.

And contrary to what may have appeared

on television thanks to some slick editing,

it is two miles inland - not seaside dining.

Get off your USC trojan high horse and

prove yourself first.

I'm glad my boss doesn't go into the bathroom cring everytime she's critcized.  Did you even know who Gordon Ramsay was before the show or did you just think this was free publicity?

Tho Le: The Show 2.0

After wathchting the show, I have doubts

this place is worth visiting.  Not unless the

kitchen staff is completing replaced would

I even think about spending that type of

money in such a plush area. I do wish the

owner good luck in her endeavor, but I

think she's over her head and her USC

education will not help her despite her

wants.
